- 011. Only vegetarian food will be served in the dining area. Residents are not permitted to order or carry non-vegetarian food on the premises.

- 032. It is mandatory for students leaving the PG premises to collect a gate pass.
- 043. Kitchen utensils are to be used only in the dining area. Anyone caught with utensils outside this area will be fined Rs. 200 by the management.
- 054. Ragging is strictly prohibited. Any involvement in such activities may result in legal action or immediate eviction from Shyam Stay. Non-compliance may lead to fines, penalties, or expulsion, depending on the severity of the violation.
- 065. Residents must maintain decorum and silence on the premises.
- 076. Room inspections by staff members may occur at any time, with the management retaining supervision and control.
- 087. Smoking, chewing tobacco, consuming alcoholic drinks, or using any intoxicating drugs is strictly prohibited. Evidence of such substances on the premises will result in strict legal action by management.
- 098. Visitors and parents are not allowed in residents' rooms. In shared rooms, residents must ensure that their co-occupants are not disturbed.
- 109. Visitors must provide their details in the visitor's book. Failure to do so will result in trespassing charges and strict action against the related resident.
- 1110. Visitors must register their name, sign, and relationship with the resident at the security desk.
- 1211. Room or bed allotment in shared rooms may be changed at the management's discretion.
- 1312. The premises' gate will be closed between 10:30 PM and 6 AM. Residents entering during these hours will be recorded, and details may be shared with parents or guardians if necessary.
- 1413. Residents must inform the management of overnight stays outside the premises, with this information potentially shared with parents or guardians.
- 1514. Rooms and toilets must be kept clean and tidy, with no photographs or pictures displayed on the walls.
- 1615. Misuse of electricity, water, or other facilities will result in penalties.
- 1716. Residents are not permitted to enter the kitchen or instruct kitchen staff. Complaints about food or service should be made in writing to the Warden or Mess Manager.
- 1817. Meals are served in the dining hall, and residents must be neatly dressed.
- 1918. Meal timings are between 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM, with no service provided outside these hours.
- 2019. Food will be provided four times a day, except for dinner on Sundays or holidays, at the discretion of the management.
- 2120. Bed allotment is for the academic year. Residents leaving before the lock-in period must pay the rent for the remaining tenure. Security deposits will be adjusted accordingly.
- 2221. Residents are responsible for the care of provided assets. Misuse or damage will result in reimbursement charges.
- 2322. Monthly rent must be paid by the 15th of each month, with a Rs. 100 per day fine for delays.
- 2423. Illness must be reported immediately to the Warden, with all outside medical expenses borne by the resident.
- 2524. Pets are strictly prohibited on the premises.
- 2625. The rent includes four vegetarian meals daily, except for dinner on Sundays and major occasions.
- 2726. Illegal activities, including ragging, smoking, and alcohol consumption, will result in legal action.
- 2827. Cash deposits in the bank are not permitted.
- 2928. Misbehaviour with co-tenants or management is strictly prohibited.
- 3029. Temporary accommodation for parents or guardians may be provided with prior permission and on a chargeable basis if available.
- 3130. Residents must not misuse the premises for immoral, unsocial, or business purposes.
- 3231. Subletting rooms is not allowed.
- 3332. Room exchanges require written permission from management.
- 3433. Any abuse or indiscipline will result in strict action by management, with the decision being final.
- 3534. Management is not responsible for residents' belongings and advises residents to keep them safe.
- 3635. Verbal complaints will not be entertained; all complaints must be written in the register maintained with the Warden or Security.
- 3736. Management is not responsible for incidents occurring outside the premises.
- 3837. Rules are subject to revision at any time.
- 3938. Authorized personnel have the right to inspect residents' rooms.
- 4039. The rules are governed by the laws of India, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Bangalore courts.
